MgOH2 Phosphorus Compound Flame Retardant
Magnesium Hydroxide and Phosphorus Compound Flame Retardant is the most efficiency fire retardant for all. Considering the large padding of magnesium hydroxide flame retardant and poor flame retardant efficiency as the inorganic flame retardant. And the phosphorus flame retardant weakness: easy hydrolyze, easy oxidized, easy to fire or explode in production. After mixed the magnesium hydroxide and phosphorus, the synergetic flame retardant effect improved obviously, it can reduce magnesium hydroxide padding and had a better material processing performance, and the most important, and it can lower the mechanical properties of the final product.

Principle: In the process of compound flame retardant, magnesium hydroxide can provide enough water for phosphorus, then aggregation generate the polymetaphosphate material which can form a glass type material surface coated on the combustibles to restrain the fire. And the polymetaphosphate also can accelerate the Mg(OH)2 speed to release the water, then help magnesium oxide make a carbide layer to prevent the combustibles and air, reduce the fire.
